The moral challenge of our generation is how Ban Ki Moon put it as he called for action at the climate change conference. So far the meeting has produced a lot of words but few concrete guidelines for action. Ban's urgent call for action pointed out that it will not be the industrialized countries but the poorest that bear the brunt of global warming. And signs of what that could mean are evident not far from where the delegates are meeting....
