The global economic crisis has had little impact on world military spending

The global economic crisis has had little impact on world military spending. That's according to the latest figures out by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. In its latest report, SIPRI found that most major economies boosted military spending in 2009 despite the recession. Germany was also among the world's top 10 spenders.
