#UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon has said rich nations should not balance their budgets on the the backs of the poor. He was speaking at a special UN summit in New York on poverty. 140 heads of state and government are discussing ways to meet the targets set by the Millenium Development Goals ten years ago. Many countries have slashed their development aid budgets in the wake of the financial crisis.
