In Greece, protestors and police clash during a 24-hour general strike

Public transport has come to halt across Greece where thousands of workers are taking part in a 24 hour general strike. Ferry and rail services have been disrupted in the protest action against planned pension and labour reforms. In the capital Athens about 10 thousand people took part in a march aimed at stopping the government's austerity plans.
