German Foreign Minister announces withdrawal from Afghanistan

German Foriegn Minister Guido Westerwelle announced plans to withdraw 450 German Soldiers from Afghanistan by end of January. Speaking to the German parliament on Thursday, Westerwelle insisted Berlin's committment to Kabul would not end, even after the withdrawal of international forces from Afghanistan is completed in 2014.
