Siemens Engineering giant Siemens has confirmed that it plans to cut up to 3,800 jobs worldwide as it prepares to sell its corporate telecommunications division, and outsource a further 3,000 jobs through sales and partnerships. It been trying to find a buyer for the division for two years.
