#The anti-nuclear stance of Germany's Green's are continuing to pay off for that party. Opinion polls show the upcoming state elections in Berlin and Baden-Würtemburg hold out the prospect of Green led governments in those states for the first time ever. Analysts say the party has now moved into the political main stream - with, for example, its oppositon to GM crops and the privitization of public water supplies - finding broad support.
