Dana EichhorstNovember 18, 2011

British prime minister, David Cameron, will be in Berlin today for talks with the German chancellor Angela Merkel. The European debt crisis is set to dominate their talks. The two leaders disagree on several key issues: Merkel is keen to strengthen fiscal discipline in the European Union. Cameron is reluctant to cede more authority to Brussels and opposed to plans for an EU-wide financial transaction tax.
