Best-selling writer Johannes Mario Simmel has died at the age of 84 - je 02.01.2009 20

It's been announced that one the world's most successful German-language authors - Johannes Mario Simmel - has died at the age of 84. Born in Vienna, and raised in Austria and England, he wrote 27 novels and six children's books - as well as numerous screenplays and collections of short stories.
