Barack Obama calls on the world to work together to fight climate change on the final day of the UN climate conference

Constanze TressDecember 18, 2009

14 days.. and delegates at the Climate Summit in Copehagen are still talking.. still trying to hammer out a deal to fight global warming. Reports say the shape of a possible deal is slowly emerging, potentially with huge cuts in carbon emissions in the long term. But it's still unclear if and when a deal can be signed. The key could lie with the world's biggest polluters - United States and China. US president Barak Obama and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held nearly an hour of bi-lateral talks today - and also addressed the conference.
