Bayern Munich playmaker Michael Ballack would be interested in joining Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid, according to his agent Michael Becker. Both Bayern and Becker admit Madrid have not made an official offer for the German international captain but, if they did, Ballack would be prepared to listen. "If Real Madrid do make an offer it would make sense to look at it," declared Becker. "I do not know any footballer who would not want to play for Real." Madrid tried to sign Ballack in July 2002 when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but the goalscoring midfielder opted to join Bayern in a 12-million-euro deal. Ballack is contracted to Bayern until June 2006 and will sit down after the Confederations Cup, running from June 15 to June 29, to discuss his future. "Bayern are our first port of call and we have agreed to hold talks soon," added Becker. Ballack, 27, scored an impressive 13 league goals this season as Bayern won a league and cup double.
