International aid efforts for flood stricken Pakistan are gathering momentum. The UN has launched an appeal for 350 million euros. The US and Germany are among the countries which are increasing their pledges of assistance. The US military is also sending in more helicopters to help with relief operations. Humanitarian agencies warn unless aid gets to Pakistan quickly more people will die.
