14 killed in prison breakout in Iraqi city of Ramadi

A prisoner breakout from a police station in the western Iraqi city of Ramadi triggered a shootout which left 14 people dead, including six policemen. Ramadi police imposed a curfew in the city following the night time incident. An Interior Ministry official said 40 prisoners initially got away but around half were recaptured. Of those gone into hiding, three are leaders of the al Qaeda-linked Sunni Islamist group, Islamic State in Iraq.
