DW-WORLD.DE with "Inspired Minds" on air and online

Deutsche Welle (DW) launched a new English-language web-site and radio series presenting some of the top names in the arts world on Monday, 28th of October. "Inspired Minds" offers interviews with musicians, writers and leading figures from all the artistic genres, including composer Karl-Heinz Stockhausen, conductor Kurt Masur and 'Harry Potter' creator J.K. Rowling.

This project was realized as a joint venture between DW-RADIO/English and DW-WORLD.DE, a team headed by Breandain O'Shea, regular presenter of DW's award-winning "Arts on the Air" programme. The web-site provides not only comprehensive information on the career and works of the stars, but also little-known facts about their personal lives and tastes, photos, archived recordings and readings and quiz questions. The radio programmes will be broadcast on DW's worldwide satellite network and on the internet. The website is at www.inspiredminds.de.
