Victim and Border Guard
In 1975 Bernhard Fey was shot and seriously injured by an automatically triggered weapon while trying to escape to the West. On that day, Gerhardt Lehmann was in the East German army and in charge of the relevant sector of the border. The two men look back and tell us how they see East Germany, the Berlin Wall and the old border today.
