The Snail – A Festival Theater for Africa

The German film and theater director and impresario Christoph Schlingensief hopes to build a theater and arts performance center somewhere in Africa. It will be shaped like a snail, so that it can be easily expanded as needed and when financing is available. ARTS.21 joined Schlingensief as he toured Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Mozambique in search of a suitable location for his project.
