Most surfers of the internet take it for granted that they can go to any website and run any software program they want, but that could be about to change according to some concerned EU citizens.

Activists are hard at work, campaigning to amend some bills defining the telecommunications industry in the European Union.

My guest this week, spokesman for La Quadrature du Net, Jeremie Zimmermann, said the Telecoms Package, a series of bills before the EU parliament, could result in the infringement of personal liberties. We discussed the legislation and its impact on net neutrality for the EU.
