DW-TV: Laura Dünnwald and Kristina Sterz Join euromaxx

Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster, welcomes two new hosts for its lifestyle magazine.

Starting this September, Laura Dünnwald and Kristina Sterz will join the team of hosts for the lifestyle magazine “euromaxx”, broadcast daily on DW-TV.

Dünnwald was born in Berlin and is known throughout Germany as the face of the “Tagesschau”. Before hosting German news program, she worked as a host for shows on Premiere and RTL. Sterz is from Schleswig-Holstein and began her career as a host for RTL before switching to WDR.

The lifestyle magazine “euromaxx” can be received by more than 200 million households worldwide via satellite. The award-winning show reports daily on topics surrounding pop culture – from music and fashion and design and dining to photography, travel and architecture. “euromaxx” uses portraits, features and in-depth reports from Germany and Europe.

“Our show presents German and European ways of life,” says Rolf Rische, Head of Society and Entertainment at DW-TV. “We offer information and also want to share the excitement for the good things in life. euromaxx stands for modern Germany and modern Europe. We are happy to have the services of Laura Dünnwald and Kristina Sterz – two established journalists that can represent and present this modernity.”

The half-hour program is broadcast multiple times daily in German and English. In this way, the magazine reaches its audience in the respective prime times around the world.
