Bayern Munich

Bayern have come on strong of late and remain favorites for the title. But their cause would be helped if they could ever get both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery healthy.

Prospects: After a shaky start, coach Louis van Gaal finally began to assert his vision for the team. The squad is an intriguing mix of international stars and homegrown talents, and when their two lightning-quick wingers are fit, they present an insoluble dilemma for defenses. Without them, though, Bayern cannot count on sure victories against the Bundesliga's better sides. But the title is theirs to lose.

Personnel: Bayern will have to overcome some injuries at the back to some of their regular defenders, if they want to keep their title charge on track. Mario Gomez is clearly the team's top man up front, but Munich will want to get Miroslav Klose more involved as well.
