The World's Future
How will people live in 2030? How and where will they work? What kind of health care will exist? What will have happened to the environment? Will poverty have been eradicated? The Forum of Young Global Leaders focuses on these central questions. The international organisation for people aged 40 or younger, who have excelled in their field, was created by World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab.
At the group's recent annual meeting in Dalian, China, DW-TV talked to several members about the 2030 Initiative, which seeks to define a vision for a better future. Over the next five weeks, DW-TV's business magazine MADE IN GERMANY will present their views in "2030," a special series co-edited by Michael Wetzel and Wolf Gebhardt.
The first episode, which aired on Nov. 27, takes a closer look at what's in store for the environment by 2030. Please click on the link below to watch the video. You can also find out more about the Young Global Leaders in the interviews on this page.
